Free Kids Workshop: Building Dragons

The dragons are flying into Lowe’s this month! Bring your child to Lowe’s and they can build Toothless the Dragon!

If I had kids I would totally sign them up for these free clinics! Lowes offers free clinics for kids where they can learn to build things with their own hands. The next upcoming clinic is June 14th. Spots do fill up very fast so register as quick as you can. All supplies are given free of cost. All you need to do is show up and get ready to build!

This FREE hands-on workshop is designed for children ages 5 – 12 years old and is offered by Lowes at 10 a.m. All kids get to keep their wooden craft and receive a FREE Kids Workshop Apron, goggles, and commemorative patch.

Keep moving this weekend with a bit of strength and stretching with these FREE Pilates classes. Sports Basement offers a variety of ongoing free classes at their Walnut Creek store. All levels are welcome. Just BYOM (Bring Your Own Mat)!

Pilates is a great way to take back your physic. This class builds strength without excess bulk, creating a sleek, toned body with slender thighs and a flat abdomen. Classes are held every Saturday 9-10am

Free Cooking Class: The Perfect Meat

Sounds like something a dad would say right – probably standing near the grill – spatula in hand! Join us and learn how to make to make the perfect steak – first from understanding different cuts of steak and how to prepare each to enjoy them at their best as well as understanding what grass fed and organic means when it comes to your meat.

This class will be held Sunday June 8th at 10am. The hour-long technique classes are free and include tastings of prepared dishes. The class will be held at 10:00am and class size is limited. Participants can also enjoy 10% savings on select same-day store purchases.
