Warriors Win: Get Your Free Smoothie & Taco! 


In celebration of last night’s Warriors win local businesses are offering some delicious freebies! 
To celebrate the Warriors NBA Finals win Jamba Juice is giving away free smoothies between 5 and 7 p.m. at participanting locations. The “Tropical Warriors” smoothie – co-created with the team earlier this year – includes mangoes, pineapples, and mango passion juice. 

Also happening today is Taco Bell is giving away a free Doritos Logos Taco between 2pm – 6pm. 

Both offers are one per person and it’s recommended to call ahead and see if your location is participanting.

DUI Checkpoint Tonight! Ride FREE W/ Uber!

The Richmond Police Department announced Thursday it plans to conduct a DUI sobriety checkpoint on Friday night.

If you would like to be updated on DUI checkpoints and other police activity in Contra Costa, it’s HIGHLY recommended that you join our email list, Facebook page, twitter feed or bookmark us and check back often!  We will continue to make people of Contra Costa County aware of DUI Checkpoints, Smog Checkpoints, Saturation Patrols, and other travel related events. As far as we know, DiabloReporter.com is the ONLY site that gives out specific times and locations of checkpoints in the County.

The checkpoint will run from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. at the intersection of Hilltop Drive and Robert H. Miller Drive in Richmond’s Hilltop neighborhood.

“The DUI checkpoint is funded through an AVOID grant secured by the Contra Costa County Sherriff’s Office,” police said. “Volunteers from the Bay Area chapter of Mothers Against Drunk Driving will be on location with police patrol units.”

Pinole Animal Services Offers Free Dog Adoptions – Ends May 27th

FREE Peet’s Coffee This Friday – Any Size, Any Drink!


Peet’s Coffee is doing it again! They are giving away free drinks of any size and any flavor! No coupon or purchase needed!
