Registration is now open for the FREE Chalkboard Planter Stand Workshop on Saturday, April 4! Do your kids have the need for speed? Bring them into Home Depot’s to build this cool chalkboard planter stand!

This free kids workshop is a great way to spend some quality time with the kids and get a free craft item! These hands-on workshops are designed for children ages 5 – 12. All kids get to keep their craft, receive a free certificate of achievement, a free Workshop Apron, and a free commemorative pin while supplies last. Children must be present at the store to participate in the workshop and receive the free craft item, apron and pin. Kids Workshop activities are scheduled on a first come/first served basis.

Dairy Queen is celebrating its 75th anniversary with Free Cone Day on Monday. Participating Dairy Queen and DQ Grill & Chill stores will serve one free small vanilla soft-serve cone per customer. No purchase necessary.

Customers will be asked to make donations for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Dairy Queen has raised more than $100 million for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals during the last 30 years.

Free Buttermilk Pancakes – TODAY ONLY!

IHOP restaurants in the bay area will offer each guest a free short stack of its buttermilk pancakes on Tuesday in observance of National Pancake Day from 7 a.m. – 10 p.m.

*One free short stack per guest. Dine in only. Not valid with any other offer, special coupon or discount. While supplies last.

For every short stack of buttermilk pancakes served on National Pancake Day, IHOP guests are encouraged to make a donation to Shriners Hospitals for Children. IHOP hopes to raise $3.5  million this year, with a goal to bring the total amount of funds raised to nearly $16 million for Shriners and other local charities.

Here are some facts about National Pancake Day:

– IHOP served 4.5 million free pancakes on National Pancake Day 2013 and pancake lovers donated nearly $3 million to children’s charities.

– All of the free pancakes served on National Pancake Day 2013 would create a stack nearly 13 miles high.
