Halloween Crafts, Dress Rehearsal & Costume Parade
Join Disney Store for a Halloween Party including crafts, games and a costume parade! Come dressed as your favorite Disney character and join the costume parade to get a FREE Halloween surprise! Snap, share & tag #DisneyStore on your Halloween Dress Rehearsal photos for a chance to be featured on our Instagram!

October 18, 2015 from 10-4pm – Moraga Ponies and Pumpkins Event
Not just a pumpkin patch, but an event. Pick out your pumpkin then decorate it at our knife-free craft table. Or, decorate a horseshoe. Get your face painted, play some games. Join in the costume contest or pumpkin dessert contest. Watch amazing equestrians demonstrate their skills, and meet with groups and trainers in the area. And if you get hungry, try our tri tip barbecue!

Friday October 23, 2-5pm – Trick or Treat Walnut Creek
Calling all goblins, superheroes, princesses & witches!
You’re invited to creep through downtown collecting Halloween treats from participating businesses while you enjoy live magic by Howie Didit! WCD encourages participants to be eco-friendly…Please bring your own favorite candy bag! The starting location is the Lesher Center for the Arts at 1601 Civic Drive, Walnut Creek. Begin your afternoon of fun at the starting location to pick up a map of participating businesses between 2:00pm-4:30pm. Children 10 & under must be accompanied by an adult.

October 23rd from 6-9 pm – Antioch Skate & Scare Family Party
Don’t miss this spooktacular family-friendly skating and costume party! Admission is $10 and includes rental roller skates or you can bring your own. The event will feature live djs, games, giveaways, glow gear, raffles, food and drinks.
Free goodie bag for the first 30 kids! Costume Contest for the best dressed, most original, scariest, and funniest. All proceeds benefit the Delta River Rats youth hockey club. The event will be held at the Antioch Indoor Sports Center located at 1210 Sunset Drive, Antioch.
October 24th at 10 am – Kids Spooky Cooking Class
Calling all ghosts and goblins! Let’s throw a party and serve some bewitching treats. We’ll make cheesy crackers, popcorn balls and Halloween cookies that you can decorate as you please. Suitable for ages 5–13. The event will be located at Williams-Sonoma 1470 Mt Diablo Blvd Walnut Creek, CA 94596.
October 24, 2015 11-4 pm – Antioch Animal Services Party & Parade
The main events this year include a Monster Mash Dance Off, A Decorated Pumpkin Contest and a Halloween Pet Costume Parade! The Costume Parade will start at 11:45am! Prizes will be awarded for Most Unique Pet Costume. Best Family Costume, Look-a-Like Pet/Owner Costume, Best Green Costume, Cutest Dressed Costume and Scariest Costume!
All dogs MUST be on a leash to participate! Cats and other pets are welcomed as well. Be sure to decorate a pumpkin at home and bring it to the Decorated Pumpkin Contest! The first 50 participants at this year’s Mutt Strut will receive a goodie bag! There will also be special rates on adoptions! Be sure to bring an umbrella in case it rains! As always, this event is ***FREE**** and open to the public! There will be vendors, food, contests and raffle prizes! Come on down and join the Family fun for Pets and Children (and Adults) of all ages! ♥ 🙂
October 25, 2015 from 10-2 pm – Trunk or Treat Event Martinez
The 6th annual Trunk or Treat Main Street Martinez & Cooperative Center FCU invite you to join us at a SAFE, FUN, and FREE Halloween Spooktacular! Sunday, Oct. 25 from 10am to 2pm in Downtown Martinez We’re teaming up with local businesses to provide a safe place for you to enjoy Halloween festivities. Instead of walking house to house, visit creatively themed and decorated car trunks and shops lining downtown Martinez to collect candy and treats. The Trunk or Treat and Store to Store event will happen on a Sunday in conjunction with the Farmers Market. The Market will be on the 600 and 700 blocks of Main St. and the 500, 800, and 900 blocks will be filled with Trunk or Treat cars. And, many stores throughout the downtown will be open and handing out treats. Treat bags and maps will be handed out to Trunk or Treaters in the Main Street Plaza. Friday October 30, 2015 3-5 pm – ARF’s Free Halloween Party
Celebrate Halloween at ARF’s FREE Halloween Party for children under 14. Come in your costume to play ghoulish games, make witchy crafts, and meet ARF’s furry friends! No registration necessary. Parent supervision is required. No pets please. The event will be held at 2890 Mitchell Drive Walnut Creek, CA 94598
October 31 from 9 – 1 pm Bronestone’s Halloween Party Oakley
Bring your own photographer and enjoy our gardens as your back drop for some fun family photos. Come and take your photos in our gardens on October 31st 2015 from 9am – 1pm. We encourage you and your kids to wear a costume and join in the fun! (you do not have to wear a costume to take photos on this day.)
Best Costume Contest: Post your photo of you or your children in the event page on 10/31/15 by 6PM and we will choose one winner to get a $25 Toys R US gift card!

Atria Walnut Creek, a senior living community, is hosting a Halloween Treat Event for all little ones in costume from 4:00pm to 6:00pm on October 31, 2015. Enjoy a safe alternative to Halloween. Harvest Time Assembly of God Church will be hosting Circus Night. The event features candy, games and pony rides. Admission is free. October 31, 2015 12-3pm Orchard Garden & Florist Lafayette
All Paws on Deck for the Barkus Parade Keeping with Mardi Gras tradition, we will be hosting a parade dedicated to “Man’s Best Friend”. Bring your pooch dressed in it’s finest attire or Halloween costume and join the parade. Festivities start at noon. Prizes will be awarded by our panel of esteemed judges. Kid’s Coloring Contest Winners We will announce the winners! ‘Guess The Weight’ Pumpkin Weigh-in Winners announced and prizes given. Put On A Happy Face Our friends return to delight kids of all ages with clever and creative face painting and ‘Insect Songs’ Sing-A-Long to be held from 1-3pm.
