IHOP is celebrating its 56th year of business by offering 56 cent short stacks of buttermilk pancakes. This short stack has been the company’s best selling item since its opening in 1958.
“The 56th Anniversary Celebration is about more than just an incredible milestone in our history,” Julia Stewart, chairman and chief executive officer of DineEquity Inc., and interim president, International House of Pancakes, says in a release. “It is also a chance to celebrate — and thank — our wonderful guests who have made our brand part of their lives all these years.”
The pancake promotion runs 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. July 8 at all of IHOP’s more than 1,500 locations.
