I have had a few emails and comments about free Starbucks not really being free. I’m not sure where they are getting their information but I have called several local Starbucks asking about the deal and here’s what one barista had to say.
“Starbucks prefers you print out a coupon but for those that don’t have access to a printer, you can show them the flyer on your phone or tablet.” I followed up by asking her if someone didn’t have a printer, internet phone or tablet could they still take advantage of the free drink? She replied, “Of course, if that’s not available just tell the cashier to use code 350 and they will do it for FREE.”
There is no official limit on how many times you can use this offer. Plus it’s good until March 31. I went in alone and was able to get one for free. I don’t know if it works for more than one person per transaction but if each person went through the line independently, I know it wouldn’t be a problem. I will attach my receipt from yesterday’s FREE Starbucks experience and boy was it good. Hope you all enjoy your FREE Starbucks! Thank you Starbucks! Thank you Frankie! – My awesome barista! 🙂
UPDATE:In some stores the flyers w/ the code are behind the register so if you just ask the barrista about the new macchiato or if they are free he/she will grab a flyer & enter the code. The Starbucks on Clayton Rd across from New Lim’s Garden Chinese Food did require a flyer with a barcode. However, other Starbuck’s locations like the one on Kirker Pass, the one in Safeway on Kirker Pass, the one on Port Chicago and the on across in the Diana shopping center on Concord blvd have accepted just the code. No other proof was required at those locations. I suggest you call ahead if you gotta drive a distance to grab this freebie.
P.S. Get a free 16-ounce cup of featured brew tea at participating Teavana stores with printable coupon. Offer expires March 31, 2013 at Sunvalley. Click here for more details!
