West Wind Theaters (off Solano Drive in Concord) is hosting their FREE ADMISSION on Thursday, August 25th!  The featured movies are Tarzan, Central Intelligence, Angry Birds and Ghostbusters

Slurpee fans, get ready to fill up your favorite cup one more time at 7-Eleven stores at yet another Bring Your Own Cup event.

For the second time this year, 7-Eleven is letting customers bring any size or shape cup and fill it with their favorite Slurpee flavor for the $1.50 price of a medium Slurpee. The event will take place from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday August 19 and 20.

Here are the guidelines:

• Cup must fit upright through a 10″ hole. (You might want to measure before you leave home!)
• Your cup must be food safe.
• Cup must be water tight (e.g., no leaks!).
• One cup per person.

I’m seeing some pretty interesting pictures on the Slurpee website – people seriously bringing in gallon-size water bottles or reusing 48-oz juice containers. So long as it meets the guidelines above, you could potentially get a *really* good deal here and have enough Slurpee to share with the family!
