Pleasant Hill CERT will once again be at National Night Out on the lawn of City Hall on Tuesday, August 2nd from 6 to 8pm. Admission is free.
The Pleasant Hill Police will provide free hot dogs and the opportunity to explore a police vehicle, fire truck and ambulance, and K-9 demonstration. Children will enjoy a bounce house and face painting, and other local community organizations will provide educational booths, snacks, desserts, and entertainment.
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods a safer, better place to live. Neighborhoods across the nation host block parties, festivals, parades, cookouts and other various community events with safety demonstrations, seminars, youth events, visits from emergency personnel and exhibits.
